This top is a great introduction to short row knitting. However, if you do not feel comfortable working short rows, you can work the back panel twice instead. If you do this, your front and back neckline will look as they do in the picture below, rather than in the photo at the top of this page.

The Bombus Tee is constructed using medium, category 4 (aran weight) cotton yarn. Note that cotton yarn shrinks somewhat upon first washing, so the fit of your garment will change slightly when washed (recommended before first wear).

If you want to use a non-cotton yarn that does not shrink, or if you are between sizes, consider sizing down.

Sizes: XS (S, M, L, XL) (2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL)
Bust sizes: 30” (34”, 38”, 42”, 46”) (50”, 54”, 58”, 62”)
Ease: positive ease of approx. 2-4” built in on top of bust size (finished garment will measure 2-4” larger than bust size)

Model is 5’7” with a 39” bust wearing the Medium (40” finished garment size).
