Bonbon shawl is like a delicious, colourful piece of candy.
In the shawl, ice cream cone shaped stitch pattern and garter stitch with yarnovers alternate with each other.
Knitting starts from the top left corner, and the shawl gets wider and wider towards the bottom edge.

YARN
- 2 skeins of Lucky Omen Yarns Alpakka (60% superwash merino, 20% superwash alpaca, 20% nylon; approx. 400m 437yds per 100g), OR approx. 730m 798yds of any fingering weight yarn.

SIZE
- height approx. 143,5cm/ 57.5”, width at the bottom edge approx. 125cm/50”

NEEDLES
- 3,5mm US4 circular needles (100cm/40” or longer), or size needed to get gauge.

GAUGE

• approx. 15,5 sts & 40 rows = 10cm/4” in garter stitch, after blocking
• gauge is not crucial since this is a shawl, but different gauge will affect the size of the shawl and the amount of yarn needed.

NOTIONS

• tapestry needle for weaving in the ends
• stitch markers if you want to mark the pattern repeats
