YARN AND MATERIALS
Approx. 100 (100) 200 (200) 300 (300) g of Lino Muka from Wollen Berlin (100% Linen ; 50 g = 245 m)
I received mini skeins as a gift, but unfortunately, they didn’t come with color names. I checked the colors on the Wollen Berlin
website, but I’m having trouble matching them accurately. Below, I’ve listed the colors that seem to correspond to what I received,
but there might be some inaccuracies:
Snow White; Grass Green; Royal blue; Cameo Rose; Mother of Pearl; Light Rose; Moss; Primerose
OTHER YARN SUGGESTION: Flyss from Handmaiden Fine Yarn (65% silk and 35% linen) held single (400 meters per 100 g), Isager Bomulin in double stranding (65% cotton, 35% linen ; 50 g = 210 m)
Circular needles 3.5 mm 60 & 80 cm
One button with a 1 cm diameter.
Tapestry needle
GAUGE
Pre-blocked gauge: 24 sts x 29 rows =10 x 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch, double stranding, on needle size 3.5 mm.
Post-blocked gauge: 24 sts x 26.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch, double stranding, on needle size 3.5 mm.
Make a swatch to achieve the same gauge as indicated above. Wash and block your swatch. Needle size is only a guide. If you get
too many stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a smaller
needle size.
Wash and block your swatch.
