This versatile baby blanket/throw has garter stitch borders with a lacy, textured pattern for the body. There is no right or wrong side. The pattern is formed by repeating one row of instructions, making it an easy introduction to lace and texture.

The blanket pictured was knitted using Stylecraft Special Aran with Wool, which comes in 400g balls, and was designed to use only one ball. The sample blanket has not been blocked, steamed or stretched.
