This 2 colourway beanie was designed as part of a duo for the #10009 Hayfield Bonus Chunky brochure by Sirdar. By using larger needles, Bonus Chunky yarn, and a cable surrounded by twisted rib stitch, the hat and scarf set are quickly worked to make a want-to-wear duo.

Sold together, both items are worked flat on straight needles, with the hat seamed before washing/blocking.

TENSION
14 sts and 19 rows to 10cm/4in (sq) over pattern stitch on 6.5mm needles or the size required to give correct tension.
Check your tension - if less stitches use a thinner needle, if more use a thicker needle.
