Book People is a lovely asymmetrical sideways triangle shawl featuring easy mindless alternating panels of eyelets and garter! Fun and quick to knit, and a lovely delicate thing to wear around your neck.

Ah yes, the name of the shawl, well, I just put out my very first knitting book titled Shawl Joy (which can be found in ebook and print book form) and the yarn I used in this project is gorgeous yarn rumpelstitskin my friend ash dyed using mushrooms and they JUST put out their first knitting book too.

AND the lovely model and tech editor for this pattern is Nicola Hodges who just happens to have also tech edited both of our books!

So it really just makes sense that this lovely
tri-collaboration is named accordingly.

We are, very much, book people.

Low on funds?

If you’re interested in one of my for-pay patterns and you find yourself low on funds - please feel free to send me a message. I’ll be happy to gift you a copy!

As someone who has been low-income most of my life it is important to me to be able to make my designs accessible to folks in tight financial situations! It’s also important for me to be able to keep designing part-time accessible to myself by charging money for my patterns :) Win/win situation I think!
