Sarah Barbour designed this stunning jacket in honor of the “book women” -- that is, the librarians employed by the Works Progress Administration from 1935-43, who rode pack horses out to remote homes and schools to deliver books.

This cold-weather jacket elegantly holds up to the elements. The gentle shaping and the cabled front with its inset buttonholes provide style, while the broad collar, double-vested front and cozy pockets will keep you warm, on horseback or off.
