As a teenager of the 80’s I have so many fond memories of the fabulous movies, pop music and the crazy fads like neon, jelly shoes and all things Madonna. Boombox socks are a little love note to that fun time.**

MC- Blue Steel - 65-75 g
CC1 Lollipop - 14 gg
CC2 Blue Skies - 8 g

you may choose to use a second gauge size needle to cut in your heel while still in the process of knitting your foot, as I do. You can also use waste yarn or a stitch holder to put the foot stitches on hold, complete the heel and then put the foot stitches back on the needle.

You may substitute the heel that fits you best, as it will not affect the overall pattern other than eliminating the heart on the back of the heel.
