A generously sized shawl that is wonderfully easy to knit.
This is Boon, knitted from the top down, ever growing with two yarns showing off colorful stripes in the mid section and a simple knit/purl pattern in the bottom edge done with two needle sizes to create an ebb and flow pattern.

The yarns chosen here are just perfect for this shawl, as they make it feel wonderfully soft while showing off easy to manage interests.
The pattern is fully written.
The blocked size measures 75” across the top edge, 27” in middle height and 91” tip to tip across the bottom edge.
Yarn
C1- Auxanometer, a hand dyed bamboo yarn by Theodora’s Pearls in a fingering weight.
400 yards/100 grams a skein.
C2- Lightly, a specially arranged skein with 7 changes of textures, colors and weights. 238 yards in fingering and lace weights.

Notions
Two circular needles, one US 5 (3.75 mm) and one US 9 (5.5 mm), both 36” (91 cm) in length.
Tapestry needle or crochet hook for finishing.
Gauge: 16 sts and 24 rows in 4” of stockinette stitch.
Techniques applied
Garter tab cast on, knitting, purling, color changes, needle changes, increasing, binding off, weaving in ends and blocking.
