I was honoured to do a test crochet on the beautiful and stunning project Martin from Martin Up North designed. Later on it would be named Nomad by Fate triangle wrap. It is such a piece of art and the original pattern and colorwork refer to the northern lights. You can imagine how blessed i felt to add my contribution to this pattern on the side of Martin.

Martin had the idea for making the same wrap in an easier colorway and so he came up with the use of 7 colors. It was my task to make this work and soon enough we discovered it worked out fine! The use of 7 colors in this wrap will make changing colors when crocheting a bit easier and of course if you have to invest in yarns it will save some costs, You can find the color schedule on my blog with detailed information for this colorway, but any colorway of your choice also.

Then I added a little extra to this pattern. The original version has no border but strands of yarn which totally suits the wrap, but i also like a simple, sophisticated border once in a while and so i designed as a additional, free bonus a simple border to it. When you feel sorry you’re done with the wrap you can work further on with this border. The free pattern and all information can be found on my blog.

The link to the original pattern of the wrap is here.
