Borne on the Waves
Everchanging as the sea that inspired it, Borne on the Waves will keep you interested with short-row shaping and patterning on both sides.
This lovely piece of lacework is a perfect light layer of warmth for sunset walks along the beach, evenings spent sipping cocktails by the pool, or anywhere else you want to be reminded of the ocean.
Each section is different, and can be knit with a different yarn, making this a great pattern for using up partial balls of laceweight yarn. Also, Sea Foam and A Distant Shore are optional sections.
Yardage/weight by section
Sea Foam: 94yds/86m (10g)
Breakers: 57yds/52m (6g)
Crest of the Wave: 76yds/69m (8g)
Out at Sea: 94yds/86m (10g)

Borne on the Waves was originally released as a Mystery Knit-Along (MKAL). The pattern is still available in the separate clue format, instructions and charts, or as a complete pattern. The files to choose for the complete pattern are BorneontheWavesfinal.pdf and Borne_chart_complete.pdf.
