Approx (160, 170) 180, 190 (200, 220) {240, 250, 260} m (170, 190) 200, 210 (220, 240) {260, 270, 280} yd of sport weight or fingering weight yarn for the contrasting color (CC).
Shown in Airdelune MERINO FINGERING (100% Superwash Merino; 400 m 438 yd/100 g) in the color Canard for MC and Spincycle Yarns DYED IN THE WOOL, (100% American Superwash Wool; 183 m 200 yd/50 g) in the color Salty Dog for CC.
Needles*

Ribbing: 3 mm US size 2½ 60 cm 24″ and 80 cm 32″or magic loop method) circular needles.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

GAUGE
26 sts and 34 rnds = 10 cm 4″ in St st (knit every rnd) on larger needle, after blocking.
Note: Should your gauge for the stranded colorwork section be too tight, consider going up a needle size.
