Botanical is a double knit capelet and hood with a flower pattern. Worked in double knit technique, the caplet is reversible and has a double-thick fabric, ensuring it is warm and cozy. Pattern includes detailed information on double knitting, and would be suitable for someone new to the technique. Pattern difficulty is intermediate and utilizes double knitting, decreasing in double knitting, working from charts, knitting in the round, and grafting using Kitchener Stitch.

Instructions are provided for sizes 35”, 40”, 44”, 48”, 52”, 56”, 62”, 66”, 70” and 75”. To size, measure the circumference around the widest part of the chest plus arms and add 2 inches. Double knitting produces a very stretchy fabric, so if you are between sizes go down a size. Caplet pictured is in size 35” and has 2” of positive ease.
