This is a simple and unique blanket which uses the Mile A Minute technique mixed with filet crochet. It is made in strips which are joined together. This pattern is written in US and UK terms. Just download which terms you prefer.

It uses DK yarn and a 4 mm hook but you can use any to suit your preference but this will alter the size of your blanket. It uses 300g in total. 200g for main colour and 100g to join and border. The finished size is 26 inches by 30 inches.
