This pattern is inspired in that bowl full of fresh fruit, which my grandmother always had in the kitchen. This cowl represents all those sneaked to enjoy the fruit of that bowl. Figs, pomegranates, tangerines, plums, small pears. All of them collected from the fruits trees of my grandparents’ garden.
The Bowl Cowl is a project that is knitting in round and seamless. It is a very versatile piece. You can fold it in the middle and use it as a cowl, stretch it and cover it up to your ears to fight the cold and use it with a coat, or you can purse an edge and turn it into a slouchy hat

Sample is knitting in 1 skein of Katia Azteca (col.11) ( 50gr. 300 m / 328 yds).
NEEDLES:
5.5mm / US 9 needles for working small circumference in the round: DPNs, 1 long circular or short circulars. (Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge) .
NOTIONS:
Stitch markers (1 of different color or style for marking star of round), tapestry needle.

Este patrón está inspirado en ese bol lleno de fruta fresca que mi abuela siempre tenía en la cocina. Este cuello representa a todos aquellos mo- mentos furtivos para disfrutar de la fruta de ese bol. Higos, granadas, mandarinas, ciruelas, peras pequeñas. Todos recogidos de los árboles frutales del huerto de mis abuelos.

El Bowl Cowl es un proyecto que se teje en circular y sin costuras. Es una pieza muy versátil. Puedes doblarlo y usarlo como un cuello holgado, estirarlo y cubrirte con él hasta las orejas para combatir el frío, o puedes fruncir un borde y convertirlo en un gorro*
