From the pattern description: <em>Inspired by a woven shawl with a lovely subtle pattern of blocks with centered dots from Norway in a museum exhibit in the Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin Area Historic Museum. It is simple, yet elegant, worked in black, and was obviously a treasured garment.
