SKILL LEVEL :
Intermediate (Requires knowledge of sl st, sc, and working in back and front lps only. Knowledge of working in the 3rd lp is helpful, but not required).
SIZE :
Sample cowls measure 21”/ 53 cm in circumference and 10.75”/27.5cm tall from bottom point to top. This cowl can be made in any size you would like.
YOU WILL NEED :
-
I used 205 yards/187.5m of Light Worsted (#4) weight yarn for my sample cowls. Feel free to try any other weight if you would like; the pattern is written so it can be adjusted for any yarn and hook size!
-
I used Malabrigo Rios in Lettuce and Katia Cotton Merino in Beige for my sample cowls. If using a different yarn weight, aim for a little less than 100g of yarn for your cowl.
-
A 5.5mm (Size I/9) crochet hook for Light Worsted weight yarn, or size to match your chosen yarn. I recommend choosing a hook one size larger than you would normally use for your chosen yarn. This will ensure your cowl has enough drape.
