This cowl is inspired by my love of Scandinavian knitting and the ways that Scandinavian knitters have incorporated natural elements into their designs. As a Canadian warm outer wear is a must, but it’s best of all when worn out cross country skiing or snow shoeing in the Rocky Mountains! The main Selbu motif in this cowl captures the mood of softly falling snow drifting among the pines as you pause on the trail, listening to the muted sounds of nature in winter.
Worked in the round in stranded Stocking stitch, the Bragg Creek Cowl is tall enough to snug it right up around your ears and chin.
