Braided I Chord Mittens
These mittens were made using some of my hand painted Merino/Silk yarn. For decoration, I utilized the I chord technique and braided the loops to simulate a cable design.
Yarn Used:
Her Majesty’s Jewels Colorway from Wallflower Yarns
Heavy Worsted
60/40 Superwash Merino/Silk
4sts per inch
Tools Needed:
Size H/8 – 5.0mm Hook
Tapestry needle
Measuring Tape
Scissors
Guage:
4 stitches and 4 Rows per inch
Stitches Used:
ch - chain
sc - single crochet
sl st - slip stitch
IC - I chord
