CONSTRUCTION
These socks are worked from the cuff down with a moss stitch panel and a simple 2/2 cable on each side of the cuff. The moss stitch panel is framed by a column of slipped stitches. Instead of a heel flap and gusset, these socks have a peasant heel that is worked after the sock is finished. Since the heel is added last, it is possible to unpick just the heel stitches and knit a new heel if needed.
