Brainstorm
Brainstorm is a hat full of good ideas, like integrated I-cords. This technique combines intarsia-like knitting with making I-cords. There are three integrated I-cords around the hat, that zig and zag like flashes of inspiration.
Knit up in lightweight bulky yarns, this hat is done in a flash. Add a ridiculously large pom pom to finish it off.
Note: the hat brim is knit on 7 mm/US 10.75 needles. Not all brands make this size, but it is worth trying to find. The US numbering system makes a big leap from a 6.5 mm/US 10.5 to an 8 mm/US 11. Both Hiya Hiya and Addi Turbo make this size needle.
