I’m thoroughly in love with Blue Moon Fiber Arts’ Raven Clan colorways. If you view them from afar they look rather alike, but up close the subtle variations really grab you. This yarn was purchased during one of their open houses on a trip to Oregon and among other wonders I got to witness someone dyeing their hair in an indigo bath out back near the chickens. Amazing!

Now, while this yarn is CALLED worsted, to me it feels/knits heavier than that, and that’s what makes the pattern so effective. It reminds me of Cascade Eco, another one of my favorite yarns, which seems bulkier than it is yet knits up perfectly nicely on anywhere from a US#8 to a #10.

I can attest that despite being lacy it is VERY lovely and squishy and warm, having draped it around myself almost like a blanket while at the movie theatre seeing Blade Runner 2049!
