Bramley Socks
by Jane Lithgow
Daughter of a Shepherd Rachel Atkinson has sourced all the raw fleece for Ram Jam from flocks where it would otherwise have gone to waste. It is a glorious mix of sheep breeds including natural blacks such as Hebridean, Zwartbles and black Texel and whites including a Bluefaced Leicester and Cheviot cross-breed, Texel cross and other mule crosses. From the raw fibre to the scouring, spinning and skeining, Ram Jam is a 100% Yorkshire wool. Try it out in these cosy cabled socks.
