When I first heard that the theme for my month was Hansel and Gretel, I could not get the idea of having a trail of breadcrumbs on the sock out of my mind. After looking at a variety of ways to make a breadcrumb happen, I decided that a one row bobble would be simple and effective. The slip stitch pattern reminds me of icing on a Gingerbread roof. I had so much fun designing these whimsical socks, I hope you have fun knitting them.
