Breast Hat
“What better statement than having your baby wear a breast hat to promote breast feeding? Or as a good laugh from a close friend going through chemo?
This cute little hat is knit from the top down or bottom up, in the round on circular or double pointed needles with an I-cord beginning for the “nipple”. The “areola” is customizable and the brim features two finishing options; rolled brim or ribbed brim. The rolled brim allows the hat to grow with the child and the ribbed brim ensures a snug fit. Hat is sized to come down over the ears so that while making a statement, it is also practical and keeps baby’s little ears warm and toasty.
Sizes run from preemie to large adult. (doesn’t everyone need a breast hat?!?)
Make one for yourself, raise awareness for breast cancer or as a gift for a friend who likes a good giggle!”*
