Brekkur
The name for this shawl comes from the Icelandic word for “slopes,” of which this shawl has plenty. Knit on the bias, this shawl leans right, then both left and right and finally dips to the right at different rates to create a unique shape that compliments the gradual slope of color.
Knit in garter stitch, this pattern is designed to keep the knitter’s attention through color and rate change without any complicated stitch patterns to memorize.
This pattern has been professionally tech edited and test knit.
