This cardigan perfectly accompanies a camisole, tank, or strappy dress and can be dressed up or down for cool summer evenings. The garment is knit in one piece from side to side, beginning with the left sleeve. Once you have bound off, sew the sleeve and side seams together, add a button, and you’re finished.

The yarn for this sweater is a blend of my own devising, consisting of Cormo wool (70%), alpaca sourced locally (20%), and Bombyx silk (10%). This fiber combo gives the garment amazing drape, softness, and sheen. Spun semiworsted style at the mill, the fibers have been combed for smoothness, eliminating the itch factor. It’s what makes this a great yarn for summer garments worn next to the skin. The DK gauge is cozy yet lightweight.
