The Brier Ridge Scarf and Mitt set are textured pieces, with a cabled geometric pattern. The ribbing lends an insulating quality to the scarf and mittens, which are made even warmer by using Yarn On The House’s new yarn: Daughter. Daughter is a beautiful Rambouillet and Merino blend made in collaboration with Cestari Sheep and Wool Company of Virginia. These two family-owned businesses are known for their quality, hard-working yarns and Daughter is no exception. The Brier Ridge set is named for the Brier Ridge boulder fields on the Appalachian Trail in Virginia, near Cestari’s Farm and Mill.
