I wrote the pattern for Unwind Brighton 2014.

As a vendor, I didn’t have the time to enter the Unwind Pattern Competition but I still wanted to to write a pattern to remind me of what became an amazing event.

Brighton Pearl is a beaded, semi-circular (slightly crescent shaped) shawl, knitted top down.
Organically placed increases and a softly ‘waving’ lace pattern with beads (optional) all makes for a very feminine harmonious shawl.

Both written and charted directions are provided for the lace.

Washed and blocked it measures approx. 155 cm long and 62 cm deep.

I used 3 skeins of CHARISMA; 2 skeins for the main colour and 1 skein for the contrasting colour.
