A wrap with a bit of a difference and many possibilities.

Three ‘ribbons’ weave through the main fabric creating texture and interest. The ribbons can, as shown, be knit in one colour adding a touch of style, or, if you wish to add some fun, why not use two or three different colours!

Or make it extra special and use some hand spun yarn!

Written directions and photo tutorials are provided for the ribbons.

Washed and blocked it measures approx. 170 cm long and 55 cm deep.

Yarn
Main colour: 2 skeins of The Knitting Swede’s Spartan 150 (55% Superwashed BFL / 45% Silk; 600m per 150gr skein).
Contrasting colour: 1 skein of The Knitting Swede’s Spartan (55% Superwashed BFL / 45% Silk; 400m per 100gr skein).

Tension
19 sts / 39 rows (20 ridges) on 4 mm ndls = 10cm in Garter Stitch (washed and laid flat to dry).
Tension is not crucial but will affect the finished size as well as the yardage.

Suggested Needle Size
Two 4mm (US 6) circular ndls, one approx. 80 cm long, the second ndl can be shorter or even 2 dpn’s.

The sample is knit in Carbon and Nautilus
