Special Notes:
• Have fun with color! Select one of Blue Sky Fiber’s Worsted for MC and use a corresponding Multi for CC. Due to the technique used, using Multi for MC will result in the stripes not matching up at the back. Be sure to cross your MC and CC yarns at each color change. Before you begin, break MC into 2 balls.
• This pattern uses Knit Eco Chic’s trademark “Zip As You Knit” Large Needle Variation technique to avoid long yarn carries! The technique begins at the end of Set Up Row 2, prior to that you work flat. In the “Body” section, the “ssk/ p2tog, turn, & place locking stitch marker on yarn tail” create the zipper. See photo tutorial at the end of the pattern.
• Cables - make sure to leave the same slack up the cable when switching colors. You will be floating the yarn in back for the cable sections only. Depending upon tension this may create an I-cord effect. In order to create the mock I-cord, be sure to float without any slack across the back of the cables.
