The book has 23 different beanie patterns, each beanie consisting of a brim, body and crown. The pages are split and constructed so that you are free to combine any three elements. According to the book title, 10,000 combinations are possible.

The patterns are all knitted flat and seamed. However, an experienced knitter could probably adapt most of the patterns - or at least the simpler ones - for knitting in the round.

Error: In the paragraph headed “Next row (WS): purl”: The first line below that heading should read, “Change to yarn A, and, starting with a knit row …” (not purl).

The pattern should also make clear that yarn A is the main colour (green in the illustration), and yarn B is the contrast colour (white in the illustration).
