Brioche and Butter was born of me not wanting to make socks…but needing to get one of Hue Loco’s chicken sets!! I wanted a shawl that would really show off the amazing colors of the skeins. So I grabbed my needles and went for it!
I love this shawl it is simple construction, and clean lines make for a quick and rewarding knit. no shaping takes place in the brioche sections, so it is a great brioche project for beginners to brioche stitch.

sample used 1 chicken set (main color 460 yards and 2 mini skeins 92 yards each) in color “golden laced wyandotte”
