Brioche Cafetiere Cosy
Brioche stitch is such a practical stitch for this pattern, because ithas a double thickness - making it a very effective insulator. Now, if you are a beginner, this is not the first pattern you should attempt. It is fun and it simple but make sure you have a couple of projects under your belt before your try this.
The great thing about brioche stitch is that you can create a reversible fabric. I have placed the buttons and their loops at the very edge of the fabric so that both sides can be used.
Tips and hints: Brioche stitch needs a loose casting on - I cast on with two needles held together using the thumb method. You also work each row twice to create this two colour, reversible pattern. Because you work each row twice you will need more yarn than you would imagine
