Briochearts
It´s all about finding love! Knit a gift for the ones you love or spoil yourself. Love is all you knit!
Always it´s so exciting to make little unventions about brioche knitting. As soon as you start increasing or decreasing, stitches become alive and pattern lines are growing all over the hat! Another reason I love brioche stitches is the possibility of combining two colors. Obviously you can keep things simple with tonal neutrals and contrasting bright colors. But it becomes so subtle to go for a low contrast. A light rose and a slightly darker pink, a dark beige and a light brown, as if one color is the shadow of the other…
The BRIOCHEARTS hat has a brim, is very stretchy and well-fitting at the same time.
I really would love to make you trying brioche knitting. Pattern is based on the basic brioche stitches, increases and decreases. It doesn´t include a 4-stitch-decrease, which probably may intimidate some of you. You can do it, knitters!
The hat can be knit in multiple sizes only by changing needle size and gauge; Block the finished cap over a steep-sided bowl or other head-shaped form to smooth the crown.
