Briocheland Shawl
This pattern is ideal for an adventurous beginner and includes both written & charted instructions and links to helpful tutorials.
I have lost myself to brioche knitting … And I love it. Briocheland is a reversible and elegant design which calls you to wrap yourself up in it. Set off your favorite colorful or variagated yarn on one side with contrasting backround color on the other side.
This Brioche beauty is a triangle-shaped shawl using Brioche Stitchfor the main pattern and Garter Stitch for the border. It is worked from the bottom point to the top. This pattern is ideal for an adventurous beginner and includes both written & charted instructions with links to helpful tutorials.
Gauge is not crucial for this design, but if your gauge differs from the pattern gauge, the dimensions of your shawl will be different as well. You can keep knitting until it has reached the size you want or you run out of yarn. The pictured shawls was made with fingering weight yarn, but the pattern can easily be worked in DK, sport or lace weihgt yarn.
Briocheland Shawl pattern is test knitted and edited.
This pattern is available both: written (included photo tutorial) and charts (2 files). You can download both versions at once :)
