This pattern was originally published as part of the Twisted Itty Bitty Baby Knits Club in December 2012.

Gnomes: a little bit of magic - a whole lot of cuddly cuteness. Worked in one piece from the bottom-up, so there’s no seaming and more time for play!

Yarn – approximately 175 yards DK-weight yarn. Shown in Tahki Yarns Cotton Classic (100% cotton; 108 yards/50 gram hank), Deepest Teal 3784, Tangerine 3405, Bittersweet Chocolate 3336, Light Silver 3006, Linen White 3003.
Gauge - 24 sts = 4” in stockinette stitch. Measured after blocking.
Needles - US #4/3.5mm (or size to get gauge) set of five double-pointed needles and two 24” circular needles will suffice – although some extras are handy.
Notions - Tapestry needle, waste yarn, stuffing material of choice.
Skill level - Intermediate (knitting in the round, increasing, decreasing, short rows).
Size/Finished measurements - approximately 12” tall and 3” wide (not including arms).
