Cast on for this super cozy brioche yoked pullover. Aran weight wool yields a plump and speedy fabric as you knit the top-down sweater. The round yoke features accent color pops followed by angular raglan shaping. The simple construction lends itself to relaxing knitting, perfect for your first brioche sweater adventure!

Sizes
S (M, L, XL, XXL)
Sample shown in size L on a 41” / 104cm chest circumference.

Finished Measurements
42 (44, 46, 48, 50)” / 107 (112, 117, 123, 127)cm chest circumference with a gauge of 15 sts = 4” / 10cm.
I recommend choosing size with 3-4” / 8-10cm of positive ease.

Yoke depth 8 (9, 10, 11, 12)” / 20 (23, 25, 28, 30) cm from collar.
Sleeve and body lengths are customizable.

Achieve smaller size options by altering your gauge.

16 sts = 4” / 10cm with worsted or aran weight yarn 39 (41, 43, 45, 47)” / 99 (104, 109, 114, 119)cm chest circumference.

17 sts = 4” / 10cm with worsted weight yarn 37 (39, 40, 42, 44)” / 94 (99, 102, 107, 112)cm

18 sts = 4” / 10cm with dk or worsted weight yarn 35 (36, 38, 40, 42)” / 89 (91, 97, 102, 108)cm

Yarn
Worsted or Aran weight

Yardage
Approximately 1200 (1400, 1600, 1700, 1800)yds / 1280 (1372, 1463, 1554, 1646)m total.

You will need the same amount of MC & CC yarn. For example, the small size requires 600yds / 549m of MC & 600yds / 549m of CC.

Use small amounts of accent colors for the yoke. You shouldn’t need more than 80 yards / 73m for any of the yoke colors. The thin accent stripe in the middle of the yoke only requires 10-15yds / 9-14m of MC & CC.

Shown in

Magic loop method is used for knitting the neck and sleeves in the round.

8 stitch markers, tapestry needle
