Broken Chords
“I was born in a big grey cloud
Screaming out a love song.
All the broken chords and unnamed cries
What a place to come from.” -Florence and the Machine
This shawl, while somewhat inspired by heavy lyrics, is such a treat to knit! Wide and cozy and everything an early autumn shawl should be, Broken Chords offers you that joyful combination of mindless and engaging knitting.
You Will Need:
+/- 680 yds (631 m) of Fingering-Weight Yarn in Two or Three Colors 460 yds MC, 200 yds CC, and ~20 yds AC
• Pictured:
-(Main Color) Yarn Ink Merino/Nylon Fingering (4-ply; 75% Superwash Merino/25% Nylon/Polyamide; 463 yds (423 m)/100g (3.53 oz); Shown in colorway ‘Quarry Light’. (~460 yds used)
