Brucie is an amazingly simple hat with a super stretchy edge that will fit a child of 9 to 36 months though due to the stretchy nature and the deep brim it will stretch and last for longer. Knit in a DK weight, in the round, this is a quick and enjoyable knit. You might find yourself inundated with orders!

REQUIREMENTS
Size Options: Designed to fit a baby (9 to 36 months) this is based on average sizes and the hat is quite stretchy. Note that measurements will differ depending on yarn, tension, blocking etc and these are therefore given as a guide only. Yarn: Hat show used DyeforYarn DK Silk/Merino superwash 212m/100g. Needles: 3.75mm (US5) and 4mm (US6) either circulars or dpns to knit in the round. You will also need: stitch markers to mark pattern repeats and a different one to mark the beginning of the round, a needle (for weaving in ends). Gauge: Gauge was 17 sts to 4” before blocking – measured over main pattern.
