The Brume socks are knit in the round from the cuff down, with a strong heel and a rounded toe. An elegant lace pattern adorns the back of the leg while little eyelets run down the front of the leg and the top of the foot on a sea of reverse stockinette stitch. The pattern includes charts and written instructions.

To choose your size, measure your foot circumference at the widest point. The socks are intended to be worn with 1.5 to 2.5 cm / 0.5 to 1‘’ of negative ease.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS (after blocking)
Foot circumference : 17.5 (20, 22.5) cm / 7 (8, 9)‘‘
Suggested foot length (adjustable) : 19 (21, 23.5) cm / 7.5 (8.25, 9.25)”
Leg length – from cuff to heel (adjustable) : 18 (18.5, 22) cm / 7 (7.25, 8.75)”

GAUGE (after blocking) : 33 sts x 46 rnds to 10 cm / 4” in reverse stockinette stitch worked in the round.

YARN & YARDAGE : Fingering weight yarn (about 400 m / 437 yds in 100 g).
Approximately : 240 (280, 340) m / 265 (310, 370) yds.

NEEDLES (suggested size) : Size 2.25 / US 1 circular needles or DPNs, or size to obtain gauge. Sharp needles are recommended for this pattern.

NOTIONS : 1+3 stitch markers, a tapestry needle.
