Bryony
Bryony is a truly stunning top down heart-shaped shawl, her gorgeous border allows you to play with colour and explore new stitches which makes her very enjoyable to create.
The pattern for Bryony was first published in the West Yorkshire Spinners supplement included in issue 10 of Crochet Now magazine. The rights to the pattern have now reverted back to me and I’m delighted to share it with you.
Pattern note – Pattern is written using UK terminology with US conversions given in brackets in the abbreviation list. The pattern is written with border charted as well
Materials
Rowan Felted Tweed DK – 50% merino wool, 25% alpaca and 25% viscose – 50g – 175m
I have used above yarn, but any DK/8 ply yarn will be fine to use for this shawl, taking into account that different fibres result in different finished effect.
