All of my children, the human one and the furry ones, have been given many nicknames. When someone is so cute, how can you have only one name for them???

Over the years, my little Cookalulu Sunshine, Pooky Love Chops, Bubbaloops (otherwise known as Cade in the normal world, lololololol) has watched Mom design and make many blankets. Every summer when it’s too hot to sleep under a duvet, he goes into the Sunshine studio and borrows one of my cotton makes to sleep under. He loved one that I had made up in “boyish colours” until the new puppy ate a big hole in it, LOL! “Get a puppy,” they said. The poor little boy still doesn’t have his very own blanket. So, I decided it was high time he got one, designed and made with lots and lots of love all the way to the moon and stars and back, just for him.

CAL Information:

• This is a 10 Part CAL including the border.
• Part 1 will be released on the 18th of August 2023.
• The border will be released on the 20th of October 2023.

Bubbaloops is worked to make a 162 x 162cm blanket.

It uses US terminology.

Skill level - Easy Peasy with some tricksy bits (very few tricksy bits).

Material List

• Any yarn of your choice – I used Colourspun DK cotton (50g/125m) – 4mm hook.
• Hook applicable to your yarn weight.
• You may also need a half size smaller and half size bigger hook, depending on your tension.
• Needle for sewing in ends and needle joins.
• Stitch markers (optional).

What you’ll get

You are more than welcome to work the blanket in any yarn of your choice. However, depending on the yarn and tension, you may have a size difference.
