Bubbles emerge from columns of ribbing in this wonderful unisex hat, that is finished with an optional pom-pom.

The bubbles are made by increasing and decreasing within the rib pattern, which ensures that the hat will fit a range of head sizes. This is an easy knit which is worked flat then seamed.

Sizes
20cm/8in long x 58cm/23in circumference around the head. The ribbed pattern will stretch to fit most head sizes.

Yarn
200m/218yds of double knit or worsted/light aran yarn. The sample used 1 x 100g ball of Cascade 220 Superwash in Smoke Heather 860 to make the hat and the pom-pom.
