This slightly asymmetrical cowl looks like a shawl when worn, but it will never slip off! The pattern is a great next step for knitters looking to expand their skills by learning short rows and challenging enough if you are already a short row master!

The best effect for bubbles is created when you choose a high-contrast variegated yarn with some long sections of colours (at least 50 cm / 20”), but any skein of fingering yarn can be used. Each bubble uses approximately 120 cm / 47” of yarn.

This cowl is knit flat in one piece and seamed at the back of the neck. Increases are made to form a modified triangle and then a straight section is worked with short-row bubbles. It has incorporated i-cords for structure and clean lines.
