Budding Garden Pullover
Knit from the bottom up, this pullover sweater features a chevron of bud stitches at the bottom edge and an allover elegant twisted rib stitch that blends in perfectly with the raglan decreases.
Sweater is designed to be worn with up to 3” / 7.5 cm of negative ease, so choose a size that is equal to or smaller than your actual bust measurement.
Skills Required
Knitting in the round, knitting through the back loop, purling through the back loop, increasing and decreasing, short row shaping.
Notes
Sweater is knit from the bottom up in one piece; body and sleeves are worked to the underarm, then joined for the yoke. Short rows are worked to shape the neck. In order to continue the twisted st pattern, raglan decreases are worked in an unusual way—the twisted centered double decrease may seem awkward at first, but it produces a double decrease that fits in beautifully with the pattern stitch.
