Buds & Blooms Blanket
The Buds and Blooms blanket pattern combines two different granny squares to create a pretty, subtle floral blanket. It is reminiscent of a quilt, and angling the granny squares into a diamond configuration adds an effective twist on the traditional granny square blanket.
The pattern comes as a 10 page PDF download, with comprehensive instructions.
Instructions include -
- Step by step photos for two granny squares, half squares, quarter squares, joining and border
- Sizing examples for a Baby and Throw blanket
- Information on how to Customise the pattern
This pattern is easy enough to be used by a confident beginner, yet still interesting enough to be enjoyed by an intermediate crocheter.
Stitches used are -
(US) SC, HDC, DC, TR, SC2TOG, PS.
(UK) DC, HTR, TR, DTR, DC2TOG, PS.
