These finger puppets, made from a variety of fingering weight yarns on size 1(2.25mm) and size 2 double pointed needles, are just right for bug enthusiasts of every age. Knit Doug the Dragonfly Dude, Carl the Caterpillar, Lacey the Ladybug, Buck the Butterfly, Manny the Mosquito and Luna Moth for hours of creepy crawly knitting and play pleasure. Use scraps leftover from your sock knitting, or purchase yarn colors to match your local fauna. I consulted field guides, along with a convenient butterfly geneticist, in order to offer you puppets that look a lot like the real thing!
