Build Shawl
The Build textured shawl has a spirit of natural growth and purposeful ingenuity. Beginning at the narrow end, the ribbing gradually divides and expands, one rib flowing into the next, resulting in boldly geometric lines evocative of wood grain. The color changes in my version to create a gradient that climaxes in a pop of striking color, but this four-color design also presents a creative opportunity to experiment with color.
This pattern was originally published in issue 35 of the beautiful Taproot Magazine. It’s now available as an individual pattern.
