Building Blocks Blanket
A special knit blanket design by Linda Galvadon, may look complex but as described by the designer, it uses only 3 basic patterns, and 2 stitches (knit and purl). There is the stockinette pattern which is knit one row, purl one row. Reverse stockinette, which is purl one row, knit one row. And the seed stitch, which is a knit 1, purl 1 on one side, and purl 1, knit one on the reverse side.
The pattern has both written instructions and a chart of the design. If you take your time, use a marker after each repeat, and mark the rows as you work them, you should be able to work this blanket with spectacular results.
Kit can be purchased here! Blanket shown in our U.S. Organic Natural Yarn as the border (1-194 yard ball) and U.S. Organic Cotton Dyed Yarn in Doe for the body of the blanket (5-194 yard balls)
